I forced myself from the computer into the drizzle and mist for an hour this afternoon. Will it ever stop raining? Well sometimes bad weather brings good birds, luckily for me a Curlew alighted in the meadow near the wader scrape at 14.30hrs. It stayed for 10 minutes before leaving north calling as it went. 5 Swallows weren't going anywhere. A single Redpoll called and 6 Bullfinches were roaming around.
