At last some warm, dry weather! 5 - 13 degrees, with 8/8 cloud, but decreasing throughout the morning, with a light south easterly.
Anglers CP + Wintersett Res. Vis Mig:
A Golden Plover flew north east at 08.10hrs (WRes). A Greenshank went north at 09.40hrs. An adult Little Gull in winter plumage came in to ACP at 10.40hrs and was still present late afternoon. A Common Sandpiper and a Redshank were seen over WRes and then ACP. A Common Tern flew in at 16.00hrs. Meadow Pipit 30 north.
Anglers CP: Goldeneye 37 ACP + 24 WRes.. Wigeon 10. Shoveler 20. Oystercatcher 4. Red Kite east low over at 17.45hrs. House Martin 2. Psycho the adult Yellow-legged Gull came in alone this afternoon. Several Sand Martins were inspecting the Sand Martin box.
Wintersett Res: Great Crested Grebe 13. 3 Cetti's Warblers - west bank, Ruin area and south east corner.
Lepidoptera: Peacock 2. Small Tortoiseshell 2.
