Anglers CP: The first male Blackcap of the spring was on the north side near Santingley Farm gate. 5 Bar-tailed Godwits flew into the shallows at 08.45hrs and were still around at 16.00hrs. An adult Kittiwake was in at 09.00hrs and was still picking flies off the water at 16.00hrs. A redhead Goosander came into the shallows and 26 Sand Martin flew north this afternoon. 5 Snipe were on the Pol. Also 13 Shoveler, 5 Teal and 3 Little Grebe were in.
Wintersett Res: Kingfisher 1. 3 singing male Cetti's Warblers - NE bank, SE corner and boathouse reeds.
