Hordron road 29/4/18.

Windy with sun now and then but cold. Good viewing light but after nearly 3 hours at upper hordron barn very cold. Still, decent birding with Merlin 1, probably 2, Red Kite 1, C Buzzard 5, Sparrowhawk 2, Kestrel 3 completing the raptors. Raven 7, Ring Ouzel 14, Wheatear 8 included 5 cracking males. Male Cuckoo sang and showed well at lower hordron barn, LBB Gull 2 over, Meadow Pipit total 45. 1 Snipe displaying near dog and partridge and 4 Stock Dove. Belated news of Ring Ouzel near shooting lodge, ewden valley on April 8th, per Andy Deighton.
