Old Moor - 17th July
Night shift yesterday, Black Tailed Godwit 5, Oystercatcher 4, Common Sandpiper 3, Green Sandpiper 1, Redshank 2, Common Tern 9, Wigeon 2, Teal 5, Pochard 10 and Barn Owl 1.
Hey up cocker. Neet shift !!!........how come someone that does technical drawing for a living is doing neets? Surely you will not be able to see where your pencil is. Tha should have done proper neets with the lads fromt pit like thi dad did. Every third week on neets. Each shift twelve hours underground. There's no comfort zone darn thear - no popping kettle on for a cuppa. It was rough as hell - but a reight laugh.
