Hi John, we also got cracking views of this male several times in different places around the sewage works between 10.30 & 12.30hrs. It was with several other crests, one of which had a ring on. It spent a lot of time low down, sometimes on the ground feeding. No sign of Chiffchaffs, but Treecreeper and Grey Wag here.

I saw one Chiff-chaff, also Song Thrush on beds.
Goldcrests and Long-tailed Tits seemed to be feeding on Winter Gnats and possibly chironomids.
