Wintersett Res: Cetti's Warbler 1 male in boathouse reeds,
Anglers CP: Cormorant 21, Buzzard 1 + 1 over Wres., Siskin 1, Barn Owl 1 and Woodcock 1 over at dark.
Excellent Gull Roosts again tonight. The hide on Anglers was packed out and Steve Denny toughed it out on Wintersett Res. Fortunately, notables appeared on both waters.
A 2nd W Caspian Gull was on Anglers CP from 13.55 - 14.03 hrs.
A 2nd W Mediterranean Gull was on WRes at 15.05hrs (new bird for the year).
A 1st W Yellow-legged Gull was on WRes at 15.30hrs.
Pete Smith picked up the juvenile Kumlien's Gull on ACP at 15.30. After bathing, it left for WRes at 15.42hrs.
Graham Speight picked up a 4th W Caspian Gull on ACP at 15.55hrs.
Area Totals: Herring Gull 1470, Great Black-backed Gull 295 , Lesser Black-backed Gull 11, 57 Goosander & 47 Goldeneye.
