New arrival this morning is a summer plumaged Black Necked Grebe on Bolton Ings, it is favouring the western end of the eastern lake. At Old Moor the Little Egret still present and the Cettis Warbler is calling near to the old hide on the reedbeds. At Edderthorpe 16 Shelduck present. Last night the Bittern roosted in the usual place on the reedbeds.
