Rare birds of prey in the Barnsley area

I would ask all persons who contribute to this blog PLEASE, PLEASE do not publicise the whereabouts of displaying 'Schedule 1' and large raptors in the south-west of the area. As is common knowledge there are certain bodies/people who do not wish and WILL NOT tolerate any large (or small in some cases) raptors breeding in this area. As a result of such pressures many species have become extremely scarce or rare. Their demise in the Dark Peak is dire enough without us adding to it. Thank you.

perhaps we could add Raven to the list. And maybe someone could edit any relevant old post?

I did consider not including the certain sp at Broomhead, although i found out gamekeepers knew of their presence before I saw the bird. I do, however fully agree with the plea
