MOORS THE MERRIER

The Rough-legged Buzzard was performing well late afternoon at Ewden Heights from 4.30pm sitting in tree tops out on the open moor. This is a similar time to yesterdays sighting and may be a good time to look for it here ? A ringtail Hen Harrier flew over the moor at the same time and both birds were seen together. 3 Common Buzzards were also seen. A male Black Grouse in the short grass fields showed well for a couple of hours.
