Rough-leg becoming predictable?

The Rough-legged Buzzard has been showing itself off the last couple of days in the Ewden Heights area. Late afternoon and early evening it is sitting around on tree tops out on the open moor for prolonged spells. This evening it was best viewed from the trail that goes over Barnside Moor in the area that is favoured by Black Grouse, looking from the road meant looking directly towards the sun! It hung around until 6.15 pm before heading off over the moor towards the 'top' of the Ewden Valley. Also in this area;- Black Grouse 1 male, Stonechat and 80 Fieldfare. Meadow Pipits have arrived in big numbers during the last few days.
