A large increase in the number of gulls in the Ingbirchworth & Millhouse Green areas today, with many roosting in newly ploughed fields and following a plough on Annat Royd Lane.
Ingbirchworth Reservoir - 2 Goldeneyes, c300 Black-headed Gulls, 54 Common Gulls and 4 Herring Gulls.
Annat Royd Lane - c1300 Black-headed Gulls, c420 Common Gulls, 14 Herring Gulls and 4 adult Lesser Black-backed Gulls.
Royd Moor Res. - 3 Canada Geese, 2 Greylag Geese, a pair of Tufted Ducks, 10+ Black-headed Gulls and 2 adult Kittiwakes.
Millhouse Green/Fullshaw - 300+ Black-headed Gulls, c40 Common Gulls and 20+ Lesser Black-backed Gulls
