Highlights yesterday included Adult summer plumaged Mediterranean Gull, Little Egret, 2 Ringed Plover, Green Sandpiper, Curlew, 4 Oystercatchers, 31 Goosanders and 8 Goldeneye. The unconfirmed records of Avocet and Sand Martin from the weekend have since been confirmed. The Sand Martins are the earliest ever recorded beating the old record by 6 days!
