Micro Moth

Ray Dye photographed this female Bee Moth on the wall of his home at Smithies this morning.
Its not rare, but nice to see anyway. This species is sexually dimorphic, the males being more brightly coloured and patterned than the females. Like some other members of the Galleriinae, the larvae feed on the comb inside bee and wasp nests.
