Wintersett 03.07.12
Wintersett Res: Highlights today were 6 Curlew west and 3 Siskin south. 5 Common Tern and a Grey Wagtail were present. A ringing session produced 89 birds, and included, 18 Chiffchaff, 19 Willow Warbler, 11 Blackcap, 7 Whitethroat, 6 Garden Warbler and a juvenile Goldcrest. An excellent result, bearing in mind the horrendous weather thay have had to endure.
