Return to the Edge

Wonderful to be back on Wombell Ings after 4 months of slow but still ongoing recuperation from a snapped quadruceps tendon. Present were 2 Mute Swan, 126 Canada Geese, c150 Pink Footed Geese (flying west at 10.57am), 1 Shelduck, 225 Wigeon, 8 Mallard, 7 Gadwall, 7 Teal, 2m+2f Goosander, 4 Tufted Duck, 2m+1f Shoveler, 1female Goldeneye, 8 Coot, 4 Moorhen, 123 BH Gull, 1 Common Gull, 1 Kingfisher(on Bulling Dyke), 3 Pied Wagtail and 1 Sparrowhawk. Hopefully, normal service for the Full Edge will be resumed next week.
