Low Moor/Midhope- no sign of shrike early aft. Very misty so anything was a bonus. Early signs of spring here with a flock of 40 Lapwings, both Mistle and Song Thrush's singing, a pair of Ravens showed well, Bullfinch 4.
Woolley Dyke- very quiet, Common Buzzard 4, Redwing 185 down, WILLOW TIT 1 at grid ref SE 338 133.
Wilthorpe Marsh- Mild, thin on snipe with just 1 Jack and 1 Common, 1 calling Water Rail, 2 Green Woodpeckers, 4 Goldcrests, WILLOW TIT 1 at grid ref. SE 333 O88.
