The gulls split onto Wintersett Res and Anglers CP tonight. They were unsettled and were flying around in the wind, then flushed by a helicopter. The juvenile Iceland Gull was the only notable, picked up flying in at 15.38hrs at ACP. Also both pairs of Oystercatcher are now present on territories they have held in previous years.
NB Rufforth - No sign of American Herring Gull, but 3 Iceland Gulls and 1 Glaucous Gull were in a field off the airstrip early afternoon. The Kumlien's Gull was there at 12.40hrs per @YorkBirding
Here are some pics of AHG at Rufforth yesterday per @TimsBirding, more at http://timsbirding.blogspot.co.uk/2015/02/gulls.html
