Wintersett + Gull Roosts 06.02.15

-1°C,  very cold and calm with sunshine and  blue sky. Much of the area was frozen today.  Wintersett Res. 99%,  Anglers CP 98%,  Cold Hiendley Res. 99% and smaller waters completely frozen.
Wintersett Res: Willow Tit 1 and Water Rail 2.
Anglers CP:  110 Pink-footed Geese flew north west at 09.40hrs.  This winter's highest number of 75 Goldeneye was recorded  today.  Also: -

Anglers CP Gull Roost had lots of gulls on the ice, and many more were flying over from Wintersett Res at dark.  The only notable today was the juvenile Iceland Gull at 15.47hrs.
NB Poolsbrook CP  had an adult Iceland Gull f on the ice from early afternoon.  per @andydeigh
Pugneys had low numbers of gulls today. per @jonnybirder
Orgreave had good numbers but no notables tonight   per @BirdPieman
Bar Lane. Knaresborough roost was disappointing.  per @andyjowett
