I'm back from jaunting around the Peak District. Here are the highlights from Wintersett while I've been away.
Friday 10th July: A male Lesser Emperor Dragonfly was seen at 13.30, south bank WRes. This is the first one seen here since 2011. (Not 2007 as I tweeted on the day - apologies to Ralph, Les and Steve M.)

Saturday 11th - Overnight mothing notables included: Gold Spangle, Muslin Footman, Silky Wainscott, Purple Clay, Marbled White Spot, Dingy Footman, Blackneck, Scarce Footman 3 and Pine Carpet.
Sunday 12th - Overnight mothing notables included: Beautiful Carpet, Lilac Beauty 2, Clay Triple-lines, Scarce Footman and Plain Wave.
Monday 13th July: Greylag Goose 79, Canada Goose 73, Grey Wagtail 1, Common Tern 1, Water Rail 1 adult + 2 young calling, Gadwall 1f + 3 small young.
Overnight mothing notables included: Green Arches, Grey Arches, Scallop Shell, Blackneck, Marbled White Spot, Silky Wainscott, Scarce Footman 4, Dingy Footman 4, Dingy Shears and a migrant micro Rush Veneer.
14th July: Siskin 1 over, Common Tern 4. The Lesser Emperor was seen again at 13.10hrs Wres. 5 Purple Hairstreak butterflies were seen in the evening. Haw Park Lane.
