Carlton Marsh

Thanks to Russ Boland and Rod Heeley the ringing rides were strimmed this morning as well as the area in front of the hide.
This evenings ringing session produced 16 new birds that included 5 Willow Warblers, 3 Reed Warblers, 2 Bullfinch, Chiffchaff, Blackcap and Whitethroat. A juvenile Kingfisher ringed on 9th July was retrapped.
A Green Woodpecker family was present and as the evening came to close Noctule and Pipistrelle bats were abroad.
