Carlton Marsh

A Little Egret was enticed back on to the wader scrape with the reduced water levels, along with Redshank and 24 Lapwing. A Buzzard spent most of the day on a fence post overseeing all this activity.
A curlew flew west at 200.00hrs (G. Miller)
Large Twin Spot Carpet moth and Dingy Shears were found near the hide and a Humming-bird Hawk Moth visited Ray Dye's garden at Smithies at 11.00hrs this morning.
