A moth session last night with Harry Beaumont, Chris Parkin, me and members of Sorby and Barnsley Naturalists Societies produced 40 species of macro and 9 species of micro moths. The highlights were Marbled White Spot, True Lovers Knot, Scarce Footman (15), Ghost Swift, Large Twin Spot Carpet, Lesser Swallow Prominent and Peach Blossom. A micro of note was the beautifully marked Lozotaeniodes formosanus, a pine feeder.
