13 - 20°C, mainly cloudy with a few short sunny spells and a southerly breeze. A short downpour at midday.
Anglers CP: Common Tern 6 adults + 2 juvs, Oystercatcher 2, Grey Wagtail 1.
Wintersett Res: Yellow Wagtail 1 over and Siskin 1 south.
49 birds were ringed this morning, including: a juvenile Grasshopper Warbler, 12 Willow Warbler, 7 Chiffchaff, 6 Blackcap, 3 Garden Warbler, 2 Sedge Warbler and a Treecreeper.
Butterflies: A Purple Hairstreak was seen near the Pol, ACP. Meadow Browns were in abundance on vegetation all around the lake. I counted 77 on one small area of thistles on the north bank.
