Carlton Marsh

It was great to be warm again outdoors! Todays highlights included 20 Tufted Duck, which equalled the record. 2 Dabchick, a new brood of 5 Canada Geese and 2 Kingfishers. If the latter breed it will be a first for this site! Lesser Whitethroat was singing along with at least 7 Reed Warblers.

On route to my mothers', an Osprey mobbed by a Crow at 16.13hrs, flew North over the new cemetery in Cudworth, as it ambled towards Rabbit Ings. Cudworth cemetery is about three quarters of a mile east of Carlton Marsh.
