Wintersett + p.m. update 01.05.15

6°C with 7/8 cloud and a cool, moderate north easterly.
Anglers CP:  The drake Garganey is present for the 4th day.   Pochard 1♂,  Teal 1♂,  Shoveler 1 ♂ + 1♀ and 1♂ WRes.  Sand Martin 500, House Martin 70,  and  Common Sandpiper 2.  The pair of Mute Swan sitting on the Sandy Box island have had an egg stolen by a fox that swam out to get it.
Wintersett Res: A juvenile Swallow was on the boathouse fence this afternoon.  A Little Ringed Plover was on the slipway.  Grasshopper Warbler 1♂,  Sedge Warbler 3♂,   Yellow Wagtail 6 and Water Rail 1.
