8°C,  with 8/8 cloud and a cold north westerly breeze this morning. Gloves and layers back on.
Anglers CP:  Psycho,  the adult Yellow-legged Gull paid a flying visit over the shallows and left west at 10.15hrs.   A reconnaissance mission no doubt!    Oystercatcher 5 adults and 2 young.  One of the adults, an interloper, was quickly chased off.
Wintersett  Res:  A late date Meadow Pipit heading north was a surprise.  Willow Tit 1 and Common Tern 3.
NB:   Butterflies have been in very short supply here this spring.
