Red Kite and Goldies

I managed to re-locate 14 Golden Plover at Hartcliff  this morning. Frustratingly, they were in a field I think looks excellent for Dotterel, rather than in the longer sward they often favour. A couple of weeks ago I think I may have had a chance of them pulling one in. A splendid Red Kite (my first here) drifted NW at 11.55 after briefly circling the hill. Also of note - c.60 Bhg's (mainly 1st summers) and 3 Buzzards.
Cheers
