Edderthorpe this week.
                                     The long eared owls left the nest this week and the adults can be seen hunting on cudworth common tip,as late as 10 am. this morning,the barn owl is being seen daily near the river.On the down side the common tern has given up eventually with water lapping at the scrape for 2 days, and we have witnessed the loss of at least 3 lapwing clutches,and 4 redshank chicks to crows ,this morning we had 2redshank,1 LRP.1common sandpiper,and 2 OYCs.and on the 13th.a whopping 52 mute swan.
