sleepers corner

Early evening visit to Old Moor - Bittern seen in flight Reedbeds, Two Buzzards (Bolton), Garganey eclipse drake on Field Pool, Med' Gull (3cy) Reedbeds. Three drake Red-crested Pochards were found on the Willow Pool this afternoon but this evening proved difficult to see spending most of the time out of view asleep under the trees, only occasionally drifting out into view.

STOP PRESS News just in from the night shift (Barnsley Blade) - immature Little Gull on Wader Scrape + all three RCP's have come out to play!

3 RC Pochard reported on Birdguides at Huggin Carr, Doncaster this morning.
Probably the Wath birds?
