Early evening visit to Old Moor tonight but rather quiet with nothing new to report. The eclipse drake Garganey was still on the Field Pool and the 3 cy Med' Gull was still on the Wader Scrape where an adult Black-headed Gull mounted a juvenile on a couple of occasions (legal?). Both adult Bitterns were seen this morning whilst the remote camera captured this juvenile below in 'swimming mode'.
Meanwhile, more good news on the breeding-front with the discovery of a brood of two Little Ringed Plovers at a new site in the valley.
