Carlton Marsh Fly Over

Not really news now but......

...............this is the Drone Video we took of Carlton Marsh mid-way through the habitat works in April. The purpose of the video was to get a good overview of the excavations so that we could tweak it before Paul Bichan - the multi-talented digger operator left site.

I thought it might give an interesting view of what birds will see when they fly into the Dearne Valley! The water's a lot clearer now and the banks are Greening Up but you'll get the idea. You can also pause it so you can see all those out-of-the-way spots you can never quite see!

All these works were done thanks to funding by Defra for the Nature Improvement Area.

I have similar video of the works that have been done at other sites if anyone is interested ?
