Low Moor / Midhope, 21/6/15.

12-20pm to 4-20pm. Cold and windy with huge amounts of cloud. No warmth from the sun till 3pm. Steady but enjoyable. Hobby over midhope res. and it or another chasing Swifts over barnside moor. Buzzard 4 , Kestrel 4 , Sparrowhawk 1 being mobbed by about 15 House Martins, Raven 1 hunting pair shoed off by a Curlew. Still a few pleasant sounds of spring with a regular singing Skylark and still chipping and displaying Snipe, thought to be 7, LBB Gull 4, Oystercatcher 2. Still a steady passage of Swifts, 90+ counted.
