Around the low lying ponds were up to 8 Redshank, including some young birds, and 2 Little Ringed Plover.
Butterflies included 5  Common Blue, 16 Small Heath, 5 Large Skipper, 1 Brown Argus and 2 Dingy Skipper. (Corrall & Hibbert)

Les reports that some of the south side of the Symphony complex has been concreted over and the rest levelled and tidied up!
