Edderthorpe, Wednesday

Still plenty of Arctic bound waders moving through;- Ringed Plover 12 early morning had more than doubled to 28 by evening, Little Ringed Plover 2, Dunlin 5 all day, a Common Sandpiper is an unusual early June visitor here, Redshank 19 and a Common Snipe is the first for a few weeks. A Cuckoo is still calling and Yellow Wagtails were seen on both Edderthorpe and Houghton Washlands.
