Carlton Marsh

This morning members of our wildlife group, together with members of Cudworth Environment Group, BMBC Environment Team and members of the public did a fantastic job of strimming the footpath verges, staining signs and fencing rails and cutting back epicormic growth in the car park area. Our reward was hot pie and peas and a soft drink by courtesy of Councillor Wraith and Councillor Hayward.  I hope you enjoyed you visit Angie, the lads were really pleased to see you.

Not much to report on the wildlife front except for Garden Warbler, Kingfisher, 14 Tufted Duck, 2 broods of Canada Geese , 1 brood of Greylag Geese and broods of Gadwall and Mallard.

I certainly did. Impressive turnout, organisation and catering.
